
Jacqueline Marie, “Jackie”, was born December 3, 1949 in Troy, the daughter of the late William and Eloise (Dibble) Spencer.
She was a 1968 graduate of Troy High School.
In early years, Jackie helped cook and wait tables at her parent’s restaurant, the East Troy Diner. She then moved with her parents and brothers to California where she worked in the healthcare field. In 1972, Jackie returned home and worked for a time at the former Crowe Nursing Home in Canton.
She then began a 36-year career with Canford Manufacturing Co. in Canton until retiring. In 1987, Jackie married her first husband, Gary Isaacson, who passed away Dec. 12, 2004. On Oct. 28, 2015 she married Thomas M. Collins.
Jackie’s beautiful spirit touched the lives of many people and she was blessed with many lasting friendships. She was a talented homemaker who found satisfaction in caring for her home, her flowers and lawn. She also was an avid bowler.
Jackie’s favorite times where spending time with family, friends and enjoying nature and camping throughout Pennsylvania and New York.
She loved all animals, especially dogs. Jackie leaves a special, Riley-Jo, her canine friend.
In addition to her husband Tom, surviving are two brothers, Martin (Patricia) Spencer, Troy and David Spencer of PA; niece, Jennifer Martin, Troy; nephew, Robert Spencer, Elmira and a great nephew, Caiden Martin, Troy. Also stepchildren, Thomas (Greta) Collins of Troy, Kendra Jenkins of Alba, Kim (Matthew) Thompson of Mosherville and Teresa Collins (Jason Myers) of Canton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Mike and Kay Collins of Canton and Susan and Daniel Nowak of Mansfield; a special step-grandson, Jase Myers, and several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and her first husband, Jackie was predeceased by three brothers; Vernon, Michael and Ralph Spencer
Visitation will be from noon - 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton. Rev. Jasper Smith will officiate the memorial service following at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Windfall Cemetery.
