Francis “Butch” Hagemeyer, 74 of Ralston, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at UPMC Williamsport Hospital on Oct. 21, 2018.
Francis Millard, “Butch” to family and friends, was born July 24, 1944 in Williamsport. He was a son of the late William Hagemeyer and Helen (Kepner) Crawford.
Butch was employed at Avco in Williamsport for 30 years. Always one who was happiest when busy. He, then, worked as an owner/operator truck driver.
Butch was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking, fishing and camping. He also loved visiting with friends, tinkering and fixing things and drives through the countryside.
Surviving are his wife Sue, five children; Shelia, Dan, Sheryl, Lynette and Francis Jr. two grandchildren, five siblings; Millard “Mike” Hagemeyer, George Hagemeyer, Sandy Baylor, Sharon Savits and Carrie Heller, several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by two brothers; John “Jack” Hagemeyer and William “Bill” Hagemeyer, Jr.
