Alice loved the “Duke” and watched every John Wayne movie. She enjoyed crocheting, and listening to 50s and 60s country music. She was an animal lover and adored her dogs and cats. Alice’s biggest enjoyment in life were her grandsons always looking forward to times spent with them.
She is survived by her children; Lewis Dunbar Jr., Penny Dunbar and Janet Dunbar all of Canton, two grandsons; Johnathan Gilliland, Kip Buchanan, a great granddaughter; Arica Gilliland, sisters; Ruth Woodward of Pittsburgh, Doris Fisher of Hazelton, Sisters-in-law; Lizzie Bardo of Alba, Phyllis Woodward of North Carolina, special nieces and nephews; Pam Kelley, Bill Matthews, Faron “Pudge” Matthews and Susan Lyons, her canine companion; Baby Joy as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Keeping with Alice’s wishes, there will be no services. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility in Canton, Pa. is assisting the family with arrangements.
