
Born December 11, 1916 in Troy, Adelia Marie was one of seven children in the family of the late Robert D. and Florence L. (Frost) Fitch.
As a young woman, she grew up near Alba, and was a graduate of Canton High School.
Adelia was a member of the Muncy Episcopal Church and in earlier years the Alba First Christian Church.
Adelia’s main interest thorough out life was the love she shared with her family and home. She always enjoyed a good conversation or just visiting with family and friends. Other hobbies included crocheting and hook rugs.
Surviving are her children, Marjorie Pepper of Williamsport, Nancy Patil of Montoursville, Dale (Barbara) Pepper of Muncy, four grandchildren, Ranae (Craig) Woods, Toby (Jennifer) Pepper, Steven (Nancy) Patil, James (Jennifer) Patil, several great grandchildren, a sister, Florence DeCoursey of Liberty, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service to honor Adelia’s life was celebrated at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the East Canton Cemetery.
The Pepper Funeral Home, Springbrook Dr., Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, consider a memorial in Mrs. Adelia Pepper’s name to a charity of choice.
